Food & Drink
Making great cocktails simple for everyone. We create cocktails for people, events, special occasions or anything else you can think of. We also maintain an ever-increasing database of mixed drink recipes at mixnsip.com. Skinny Jeans Cocktails is an offshoot of MixnSip and is geared toward diet and health conscious folk who would like to enjoy the occasional adult beverage that is more organic and lower in calories. Oh, and we have a lot of fun.
What's your vision?
OVERVIEW: I need an ebook cover for a book of cocktail recipes, all of which are 150 calories or less. Book title: Skinny Jeans Cocktails Subtitle: Libations for a Lean Lifestyle Author: Elizabeth Dodwell DESIGN: There are three keywords to keep in mind - fun, funky and sexy. And if you can incorporate all three in a design, you're genius! I have three vague ideas of how this might look, though I am totally open to your own conceptual brilliance and will give feedback daily (or more often) and will answer any questions promptly. That said, here are my thoughts: 1. Picture a sidewalk cafe, a table with a cocktail on it and a woman in skinny jeans and high heels with her feet on the table. Now zoom in to a vignette of the lower legs next to the cocktail on the table, eliminate the background and there you have it. I think I'd like color, too. Maybe red jeans, an orange cocktail.......??? 2. A section of the body, waist to knees, with an arm hanging down and the hand holding a drink. 3. Legs from the hips down as if someone were lying down; one knee bent up, the foot flat on the ground; a cocktail somewhere nearby. I'd prefer not to have stock images though it's not an absolute No No. If you take a look at mixnsip.com, you'll see we went a little retro but, again, I'm open to either retro or something more modern. Anything that views well in thumbnail will be a plus. FORMAT: OK, now here's the thing. This is my first foray into the world of epublishing and I plan to paddle before I swim. So until I earn my water wings I will be publishing in pdf format. However, pretty soon I will be expanding to ePub and whatever Kindle uses and then offering hard copies. All of which means I don't know what format(s) I will ultimately need this in. Presumably jpg for the pdf but I'd also like to have a cover that can be formatted for other uses.
For this project I'm anticipating a primary demographic of ladies in their late 20s to 50s. (However, if men do eat quiche, then some of them will surely drink low-calorie tipples).
