How fredgleeck started their other graphic design journey
Hi! I create and market a LOT of products on the internet. I help others do the same. One of the things I recommend people do is to write and create their own books. I've already done over 15 books and I want to be doing 4 a year for MYSELF. I also get asked for recommendations for people to help in the book creation process. I hope that the designer I select will work with me OFTEN and for a LONG time. I want someone who will think OUT OF THE BOX, yet commercial. This book should look as good as any book that sits on the shelf at Barnes and Noble or any bookstore.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The people who buy this book will be men and women between 25 and 50 who are interested in selling things on the internet.
I want you to create the front cover, the spine and the back cover. I'm attaching a sample of a back cover. The back cover will be pretty "standard". I'm not expecting you to copy the DESIGN, but the format must remain exactly as the sample. The spine of the book should be done using VERTICAL type. I think this looks better and stands out more on a bookshelf. The FRONT cover is where your creativity should come out. The title of the book is SELL YOUR BRAIN POWER. The subtitle is "Information Marketing in 7 Easy Steps". The image I want to convey on the cover has to do with showing readers that they can make MONEY with their knowledge they already have. This cover should be ALL ABOUT showing the potential reader that they can make a comfortable living from selling what they know, their BRAIN POWER. I could go on, but this says it all. Put on your creative hat, yet make sure that your design is one I could see on a book store shelf. I've attached a word document that has all the copy for the back copy. Use the copy I've attached and use the STYLE of the back cover I sent. You don't have to make it look identical, but it has to be put into that "system."
