J Un & Knox Hill - two rappers, one mic, and any beat that makes your head nod. We're not afraid to try anything, to go anywhere to play, or to have too much fun in the process. We're about to release a new CD, and we're looking to spread the sound to as many ears as possible.

What we need: An album cover

Title of the Album: 'Year of the Freshman'

Title of the group: (The) LC

Quick summary: We are looking for a cartoon type of vibe/graphic design. As Hip Hop artists and recent college grads we wouldn't mind having aspects of that in our artwork. We want something that appears light and playful at first glance but still has an edge/darker vibe to it upon closer glance.

Detailed description of the group and the project:

We are two rappers out of the DC area - J Un & Knox Hill are our artist names. We're about doing what we love, and we're constantly pushing to get better at our craft every day. We'll go anywhere to play, and we're not afraid to try any sound as long as it makes your head nod. We have fun with it, and our music reflects that. As a group we aim to be sharp, edgy, and confident; but at the same time we're lighthearted and we just enjoy the ride through it all.

"Year of the Freshman" is sort of our coming out party. It has a number of meanings - but the central theme is that this is us - young, ready to start the next step of the journey - like being the first day as a freshman at school with backpack and swag on. We're ready for the parties, and for all the work we have to grind out as well. At the same time it's called "Year of the Freshman" because we want to reflect the current standing in the game. There are a lot of young, really good acts out there; and our freshman class or rappers is one of the best we've seen in a long time. This is an ode to them and to us as a part of that collective.

It has to have our group name - (The) LC somewhere on it and the title of our album - Year of the Freshman.
