Book cover (front, spine and back) for my novel MR. COPACABANA, based on my father who created the famous nightclub in the 1940's and was involuntarily partnered with Frank Costello, the head of the Mafia in New York. I want something that looks modern, not 1940's, but uses elements of the iconic Copa design of lady with fruit-laden turban (see attached proposal). Back cover should be laid out for quotes of readers recommending the book, and a short mention of the author's credits.

Describe the style(s) you like (traditional, modern, etc.) MODERN treatment of classic logo (lady with fruit turban) and 1940's. What content must be included in your design? An iconic title design reminiscent of The Godfather puppeteer design but indicating a pool of blood, gun, dagger or other symbol of violence and danger coming from the beauty and elegance of the Copacabana "lady with fruit-turban" icon (see attached proposal for "lady with fruit turban" design). NOTE: Please leave space for a 2" by 1.2" white box in the lower right-hand corner of the book's back cover for the ISBN barcode. Images or text in the barcode location will be covered when the book is printed. Make sure you don't have any important elements where the barcode will be placed
