Birthday socks! We want a fun and hilarious pair of birthday socks designed and illustrated. Use your imagination to create something birthday related that has never been done before but will make someone laugh. In the documents are some birthday socks that we have already created that may inspire your design and give a better understanding of the world we live in. The design can be about anything birthday related for example, cake, balloons, parties, presents, party hats, or an animal celebrating. You could bring life to an inanimate object or keep it inanimate, we want your imagination to run wild where birthday is at the heart of it. We are all about the double entendre so having an illustrated pun would be an added bonus. This design can be for a female or a male or non-specific to gender, the goal is for you to have fun creating a birthday pair of socks that you would want to wear. We know that designing a pair of socks is weird so something important to keep in mind is the variety of placement of art opportunities, it could be a spot hit of art, an all over print or somewhere in between. Design Rules: - Please do not use any photo images, only self made illustrations and type. We are going to knit these socks and not print them so please keep fine detail to a minimum as it will not be able to execute. - Only use a maximum of 12 colors for the design - It must include at least one illustration with corresponding birthday typography - Final format should be in Adobe Illustrator or a vector - Please design into the flat sock version provided in the documents.
