A3 TOUR POSTER DESIGN NEEDED

We require a portrait A3 colour poster to promote upcoming tour dates.

REQUIRED CONTENT

The poster should include the following text:

* Mark Wilkinson presents Benny's On The Rooftop
* Australian Tour 2012
* http://www.markwilkinsonmusic.com

It must also detail the tour information provided in the attached spreadsheet and shown on the attached example poster.

GUIDELINES

The tour title and show details should be the primary focus.

The poster will predominantly be used to advertise inside the venues, which are typically poorly lit, so high contrast between text and background is encouraged. Generally we find light text on a dark background works best.

The show details don't necessarily need to be grouped as per the attached example poster. For example, they could be stacked more like a table/spreadsheet. Just ensure they're ordered according to date and that the city & state stand out the most.

The first 8 shows are supporting Shannon Noll, so please ensure that is noted on the poster, but subtle. The example poster and spreadsheet marks those shows with an asterisk next to the venue name and a corresponding " * Supporting Shannon Noll " footnote. Revision: It isn't strictly necessary to include these dates.  A second spreadsheet has been uploaded with them deleted.

Attached are some stock photographs of Mark. You're welcome to use them in the design, but it isn't strictly necessary, as per the example poster.

Please avoid any overtly suicidal visuals in your design.

Please ensure no third-party copyright is infringed.

Beyond that, please just be creative and help us create a fantastic, eye-catching poster!

TARGET MARKET

Mark's primary audience is Female aged 25-34, but his music does appeal to both genders and all ages, so something with broad appeal would be preferable. Please visit his youtube channel to get an idea of his music:

Dimensions: 297mm x 420mm (A3 Portrait) + 3mm bleed on all sides
Mode: CMYK
Resolution: 300DPI
Fonts: embedded or converted to curves
File formats: PSD Design file, Flattened PDF, & RGB JPEG

Please include 3mm bleed on all sides, so canvas dimensions should be 303 x 426, and include trim/crop marks.

Don't be alarmed that the design competition closes just before the first tour date - we are aware of that! :)

There are two consecutive shows at the same venue in Canberra - they can either be listed separately, or grouped together as per the example poster, as suited to your design.
