Create a Facebook Ad for Cashbook Complete

We sell a keep-it-simple accounting package (Cashbook Complete) for New Zealand small businesses (and also Australia). It is designed to be easy to understand and quick to use and is designed for people that aren't that good with accounting.

We want to promote Cashbook Complete on Facebook to small business owners in New Zealand using Facebook Ads. The ad needs to work for a News Feed ad or a Right-hand Column ad. One graphic would probably be OK, but it's possible that the two graphics might be a little bit different.

We'll be looking for an ad which has a good "hook" (possibly outrageously different). It needs to grab their attention and make them want to click on the image. Maybe you can add a "play" type arrow or some "click here" text to encourage them to click on the graphic. The graphic also needs to follow Facebook's 20% text rule: https://www.facebook.com/help/468870969814641 (the graphic can have a maximum of 20% text as defined on a 5x5 grid). The graphic needs to be 1200x627 pixels. Facebook resizes this to suit a range of ad types. We'll need the graphic as a PSD or AI file which supports CS3. We've attached a PSD file which is a mockup of the whole Facebook News Feed Ad. The graphic is only the center part - we've included the whole lot so that you get the full picture of what the ad would like (graphic + text). We'll be judging the whole ad - not just the graphic.
