ConFoo needs a Magazine Ad

ConFoo is a non for profit, multi-technology conference. It is held each year in Montreal and brings a hundred speakers from all over the world. Attendees of the conference have a choice of 160 technical presentations over a span of 3 days. The presentations are meant to increase the skills of web software developers.

We need a full page ad for a magazine. 8 x 11.5 inches with 1/8 inch bleed. Image resolution must be 300 dpi. CMYK color model. Audience ======== The audience of the magazine works in the video gaming industry (Ubisoft, EA, etc.) We want to attract 600 web developers to our event to teach them the latest techniques. Message ======== We want to convince people that this event is a unique opportunity to increase one's programming skills. It is also a place to discover new technologies and meet experts who come from all corners of the world. The expertise that we bring under one roof is unmatched worldwide. Theme ======== Last year, we used the Space Invaders theme. We want to bring a fresh theme this year, so you have freedom to come up with a clever theme. Some keywords to help you: martial arts, geek, computer, expert, teaching, international, technology. Content ======== We need the following elements in the ad: - Catchy phrase in line with the theme. - Training, Feb 24-25: Two intense days on PHP, Security and JavaScript. - Conference, Feb 26-28: 160 presentations of all levels by experts from all corners of the world. - Photo or photos of the event. Further work will be awarded to the winner as we will be creating more materials with the chosen theme throughout the year. Please only participate if you are familiar with CMYK color model, bleeds and other printing constraints. Bonus points if you create a less dense design than our previous attempts.
