CREATIVE & INTUITIVE BOOK LAYOUT TEMPLATE DESIGN - THIS TEMPLATE WILL BE SEEN ALL AROUND THE WORLD - IF YOU ARE SELECTED, YOU WILL UNDOUBTEDLY GAIN MUCH EXPOSURE BECAUSE WE WILL LIST YOUR NAME AS THE DESIGNER IN ALL OUR BOOKS. 

You will probably see the REAL VALUE of this contest is MUCH more than the prize amount. 

We'd like an engaging and dynamic physical book template design MAKEOVER POLISH from our previous book template.

You will be working on building a TEMPLATE; you won't need to redesign all pages as majority will be repeat pages. THERE ARE 10 OR SO "UNIQUE" PAGES THAT NEEDS TO BE DESIGNED. 

IMPORTANT: It will need to have a CLEAN, ELEGANT, SOPHISTICATED, FLOWING FEEL, and all elements have a consistent theme - of a tour guide who is taking a reader "by the hand" and showing them the "backstage" of the novel - thus, the curtain and "backstage". You are free to work with everything else including:
- layout
- typesetting
- font & text size selections for Titles, Chapters, Block Quotes, and Body Text (READABILITY is critical on this one).
- color palette
- block quotes element design
- inset info boxes design
- chapter graphics
- image "frame" for containing pictures and graphics inline with texts

Extra consideration will be given to submissions that include iconography (small, unique symbols that add to the overall brand) and a new or tweaked logo that fits in with your themed design. Like CliffNotes, we produce Behind the Story series for different books (e.g. Hunger Games: Behind the Story, 50 Shades of Grey: Hunger Games: Behind the Story, Gone Girl: Hunger Games: Behind the Story)

Lastly, remember, this is a template which will be seen by millions of readers and will help to build our brand. The design needs to be timeless in some way so as not to "get old".

We want a finished PDF file as well as an indeisgn or illustrator file for future edits.  Your design will be the backbone template for future books as well.  Please submit so that the interior text can be edited from book to book.
