Gavin12357 got their new app design by running a design contest:
Personal Trainer iPad Design

This app is used by Personal Trainers to track their clients data, both as record keeping (profiles, progress), workout sessions (for use during a session and history) as well as a diary system for tracking appointments/bookings.
I am looking for a design for the Client view page. I have done an initial draft design, but my designers skills are not quite up to my development ones :) Style/Theme: Industrial type whites / greys / silvers. Blue or other subtle but powerful colours can be used for highlighting particular areas. Fonts: The current client view screen uses DINPro/DINProCond, but I'm open to any Helvetica/Helvertica-esq fonts Texures: I like grains/leather look as backgrounds with more clean foregrounds, providing depth of view. As a lot of the screens are 'data-heavy' a way to split up the monotony is good!
I am looking for a design for two screens in the application - the Client details screen, as well as the Workout Session screen. Once a client is selected from a list of clients, their specific information is presented. This is designed to only show a single client (i.e. you can't see other clients of the personal trainer). The clients personal details are displayed, together with links to the Progress, Sessions and Booking details. I have attached a view/edit version of the current screen design that I've done myself (needs some designer love.. I'm just a lowly developer :)) Feel free to change it however you want... I'm not precious about layout or colours or anything really... just needs those data fields! The other screen will be active during a Workout Session with a client. It needs to show the total time for the session, the current exercise (including icon, duration, weight/reps/distance and time spent on the current exercise). There should be a list below the current exercise showing what is coming up next, (and what else remains for the rest of the session). The attached image is of a budget application, but has the nice icon/row style that I'm looking for.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their app design.

When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
