The Jaamo Ouder App is the communication channel between parents and their child day-care organization. It is where parents view pictures and read daily stories related to the activities of their children. It is also used to view invoices, sign contracts and other documents. The parent app was designed in 2016 as a progressive web app with native Android & iOS functionality, e.g. push notifications. But, as it stands now, the parent app does not have the mobile UI/UX that we would like. We are looking for both a new design of the UI of our app (how it looks) and well as an optimized UX that takes into account modern best practises (how it feels). It is important to note that the Jaamo parent app is intended to be used by our customers (the Day Care Providers) as their own branded app. When a new parent comes to use the Jaamo Parent app, they first encounter a splash screen where they are able to select which Day Care Provider they are using. This splash page is really the only place in the app that would be branded as Jaamo and use our color scheme, once inside ... well ... I will leave it up to you to decide what kind of color scheme might work best. In the attachments, you will find a selection of logos for some of our biggest clients (by no means is this exhaustive) to give you an idea of the range of logos that we would want to conform with. We do display those logos within the app itself, but we can certainly do that in any way you think best.

Please see the link below for a Moodboard with some inspirational concepts. One of the things that has come out of our discussions is that we really would like more child centric behavior when appropriate. There are number of pages where the user really should be able to perform actions based on one or more selected children. But there are also pages which are only appropriate to single child. We've provided an attachment that documents those different pages, as well as a simple process flow. When the user first visits our app, they are presented with a Jaamo branded splash page where they can select a Day Care Provider, then they are moved to a Day Care branded Login page, followed by the Timeline ... from where they should be able to reach all other pages either directly or via process flow

This is an app for parents to mainly see their children so we want a theme that gives a ‘Child Day Care’ feeling but also looks and feels like a modern app. The complete app contains roughly 20 pages. We would like to start with focus on the 4 pages you can find attached: A planning/calendar page, a newsfeed page, an application form, and a secure messaging page. As mentioned before, we are looking for both a new design of the UI of our app (how it looks) and well as an optimized UX that takes into account modern best practises (how it feels).
