shaharZv got their new app design by running a design contest:
Design The Experience Of The Future Of Credit Cards
Check out shaharZv's App design contest…
Accounting & Financial
We provide premium credit cards. The app allows the user to manage his card, credit line, transactions, etc. Basically - a credit card management applications
We target everyone who come into the U.S. on a work visa. This means that most of our user base are techies and financial workers, earn relatively high salary and will be in the age range of 24 - 40. One of our promises is that we are not "your father credit card". We provide a modern user experience with a sleek brand - think "the Virgin of the credit cards". The design should encompass the feelings of: sleek, modern, futuristic but as the same time be professional and go after the current generation of entrepreneurs and knowledge workers/mobile working force. We are trying to decide among ourselves if this should have a more clean look that yells "prestige" or a bolder one that feels young and trendy. Or maybe something that combines both? We are looking for creative ways to design the experience of mobile banking (manage card, understand your spending, view transactions, etc). Uniqueness is great but it should also be fast and easy to use on a daily basis.
Jump card (name might change)
We would like to start with the following 3 screens: 1. Home screen. The home page is the most frequent used screen and as such should show the user the most frequent information he wants to look at. Mainly: His latest transactions, the main numbers around credit (for example how much he spend so far out of his monthly credit and wether he carries any debt) and wether there are any important notifications he should see. He should be able to take a quick look on each transaction in his recent transactions list and understand if it's a recurring one, a fee paid, one time, etc. 3. Specific transaction screen. A user should be able to drill down to a specific transaction and see all of its details (price, store, location, time, etc). We also envision showing him related transactions (transactions made from the same store, category, etc) 3. Credit management screen In this screen the user can manage his credit and do things like: - See his current credit score and progress - See current APR and how how much he paid for rolling over debt - See his current credit line and be able to ask for a one time change or permanent change - Potentially see credit recommendations on how to build a better credit score base on his activity
What to avoid
I attached a few draft screenshots we created for ourselves. IMPORTANT: Use these as a general guide to what data we want to display not as any advice/guide to how the screen should be composed or look like. Feel free to come up with a totally different user interface, add/remove some of the data elements, etc.
