Founded in 2014, Strategic Benefit Resources was created to partner with employee benefits producers and consultants to provide them with access to specific self-funding and stop-loss insurance expertise. Our goal is to provide employee benefits producers with the tools, resources and expertise to better manage the risk for their self-funded clients. For smaller clients who have not considered self-funded health plans, Strategic Benefit Resources has the ability to assist producers, consultants and their clients in comparing the costs and risks of insuring versus self-insuring and matching the right solution with the unique risk tolerance of each client. Through our carrier relationships, stop-loss underwriting experience and actuarial expertise, we have the ability to work with stop-loss underwriters to secure favorable stop-loss pricing and structure creative risk transfer solutions. Utilizing our proprietary risk analysis tools, we are able to help producers, consultants and their clients better understand catastrophic risk and determine the optimal level of risk transfer based on the insurance market’s pricing of risk transfer.
