zEngaged is a web-based software application designed to take the stress out of planning a wedding. zEngaged features planning tools, guides, a vendor directory, an online magazine, social networking and personalized wedding websites, all designed to help create a true “social union.” This is an opportunity to contribute to the creation of an identity for a company that will change the way people think about weddings and marriage. The winning design will be awarded $500 and a credit for the contribution.

Our target market encompasses engaged couples, particularly those who are tech savvy and practical. Our users will also include members of the wedding party and guests.
zEngaged is a combination of the words “zen” (the feeling of relaxation) and “engaged” (the stage before marriage). The logo should incorporate both concepts while remaining gender neutral. It should include a brandable mark that can be used independent of the company name.
We are looking for something more creative than "ZEN" in one color and "GAGED" in another. The website is zengaged as in "ZEN" + "ENGAGED"= "ZENGAGED". It is not "ZEN-GAGED" and not "Z-ENGAGED".
Our only requirement for the company name is that the first “E” in “zEngaged” must be capitalized. (But “E” should NOT be incorporated into the logo. We simply want it capitalized so it’s easier to read the word “Engaged.”)
Please remember, we are a technology company in the wedding industry. So, AVOID overt bridal references (NO bouquets, champagne glasses, hearts, cursive, etc.) and Asian cultural references (NO yin yangs, pagodas, etc.).
