radfactory got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Wyzo, the Media Browser : Logo + Application Icons
Check out radfactory's Logo design contest…
Wyzo is looking for a new software icon and matching logo for their popular browser. The current icon has served well during the alpha stage of the software, but is rather bland and simplistic compared to their competitors (Firefox, Safari, Flock, IE, ...). Wyzo is looking for an exciting, creative icon that should integrate beautifully with the desktops of their thousands of users. We're also looking for a matching text-logo for the website. For more information about Wyzo, check out their website on: http://www.wyzo.com/
What's your vision?
Tagline: The Media Browser Desired Color Scheme: Orange, grey, white (but feel free to try something crazy) Desired Style: Similar to other web browsers' icons (Firefox, IE, Safari, Flock,...) Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) Current website and icon colors are dominated with orange, grey and white. We would prefer to stick to his color palette, as this is what the users are used to. We need the following formats for the icons: 16x16px, 24x24px, 32x32px, 48x48px, 256x256px. The logo should be offered as a vector as well so it can be used in the future for merchandise and print. Both icon and logo should match the current Wyzo branding, as can be seen on www.wyzo.com. Also install the browser and play around with it to get a better feel of the product.
