The Laptop Wizards
I'm a computer geek, and my creativity revolves around computers.
My techs work from their homes and we buy "dead" laptops to refurbish, fix people's laptops for a service call, do remote support when possible so we don't even need to go into their homes. It's been me, only me, for a long time, and now I have employees, so I want a logo that expresses our uniqueness and our collective emphasis on customer service.
I have another, primary business that focuses on working with small-to-medium businesses, and The Laptop Wizards focuses on fixing laptops for individuals and families. So I want a fun approach to our marketing and brand name. I want something that's whimsical, memorable, recognizable, scalable, and that says something about laptops or technology. One idea a friend had was to have a "technology wizard" with sparkling computer chips on his robe. Another liked the idea of stars incorporated in the logo. I am relying on you to use your creativity for us.
I am okay with cartoons. What I don't want is traditional and boring. I'd like the colors royal blue, yellow, and red incorporated in the design if possible, or at least blue.
I'd like to use the logo primarily on the website, business cards, t-shirts, and in newspaper and magazine advertisements.
I would give you examples of computer repair logos I like, but I didn't find any.
I focus on individuals and families as well as break/fix repair from smal businesses. These target consumers will be in the immediate area of Tomball Texas, USA.
Colors I would like to incorporate:
Must have: Royal blue
I would like a design that looks good printed in low-resolution black and white for a newspaper ad.
I would like it to be scalable, so I can have it on my website or on a business card, or even on a billboard. (when I'm rich)
I want the design to be friendly, not traditional, not too business-like or plain.
I am in Texas but do not want cowboy hats or boots or horses - too many of those logos here.
I would like the logo to be unique in the computer industry, but it should evoke technology in some way.
Go wild with magic or whimsey, but it still has to attract people who want a laptop fixed.
