TILTED GRILL Casual Steak and Street Food
TILTED GRILL Casual Steak and Street Food is a 230 seat restaurant in a $4M renovation. It will be the first meeting place in our city to feature a menu of Street Foods from around the globe as well a fully complemented steak menu in an informal setting. Street Food is a concept and staple existing the world over but has recently taken a prominent place in many North American markets where a “Lunch Truck” craze has taken hold. Driven by patron expectations the “Street Food” menu will evolve to include “best thing I ever ate ” selections that may be used seasonally, as a featured item, or as a core item on the Tilted Grill menu.
Tilted Grill comes for the fact roadside cooking surfaces are rarely even and more so we are re-imagining what a grill should be by taking out "slate" on the value proposition.
The restaurant is on one of the busiest street in one of the largest cities in Canada. The space is filled with organic materials (stone, brick, wood, metals) and the focus will be on community. The social commentary we provide is predicated on building a value proposition based off of patron expectations...we must exude STYLE, WARMTH, COOL, HIP & WELCOMING.
This concept has been built for replication and it is likely to become a multi-store chain within the next 3 years.
