Bold Women Travel
I'm a first-time entrepreneur starting a business empire to provide travel resources to women who are independent souls. My company will be an oasis for ladies tired of hearing "What? you're going to XYZ by yourself?!?! Is that safe? Are you crazy?... blah blah blah." I have a LOT of energy and my company culture will be similarly infused with infectious enthusiasm for nurturing the "adventure woman" within my customers.
My target market consists of successful professional women, 30 - 70 years old who love international travel. They are either single or choose travel without their male counterparts by choice. Or they may take girlfriend getaways in small groups.
They are independent spirits and will avoid basic tour groups like the plague. They are accustomed to getting what they want and are not afraid to be particular/stubborn/demanding. Their vacation money was hard-earned and they won't be satisfied until it is well-spent.
Hi Designers,
I want an icon as well as the words "Bold Women Travel" in the logo.
The logo should convey some sort of kinetic energy.
I appreciate graphics that are visually clever - surprise me.
Bold colors - YES! Pastel colors are okay, but only if you're fading from a richer tone. I'm a particular fan of jewel tones... purple, fuschia, bright green, vibrant blue. Winning design probably won't have a globe [unless it's really, really clever].
Logo should have some female element/vibe - but avoid super flowing script fonts or things that have more of a "girly" vibe than a "grown woman" vibe. Think modern meets sophisticated, with a bit a sass.
Feel free to use your favorite graphic designer tricks and methods. Use of 2 or more colors is fine. Note: I also want a version of the logo that looks crisp when printed in black/white only.
I will use the logo everywhere - business cards, stationery, website, t-shirts, etc. Please supply a high resolution layered .psd file, an .ai file and a .jpg file.
Please do not use stock images or clipart.
This is my first design contest - if you have questions or would like more guidance in a particular area, please ask in the comments section. Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing your submissions.
