Creative Brief Overview
We need a top-notch logo design for our client, Tigard Family Dental, which is a new general dentistry practice opening soon in Tigard, Oregon. Target audience includes anyone looking for a new dentist in the local area, which has a higher-than-average senior citizen clientele. We are looking for something more traditional and not overly stylized.

Brand Identity and Differentiators
We are looking for a word mark and logo treatment that is clean, simple and professional. Please note: We will NOT consider design concepts that use cliché dental graphics (i.e. do not use a toothbrush, tooth, molar, etc.) or stock art elements!
No specific visual aesthetic has been chosen so we are open to a variety of design concepts and will provide specific feedback on as many submissions as possible in order to allow designers to revise and hone concepts for final selection.
Since this is a family-oriented practice, elements incorporating family, community and all ethnic groups of people should be considered. Our preferred color palette includes medium blue, dark gray and white.
Individuals interested in general dentistry from the southwest Portland, Oregon metro area. Patient clientele range from medium income to the less affluent, older, economically minded.
Please submit each concept 2-up, with one version against pure white background and a second version reversed against a pure black background; no gradient backgrounds; we want the winning design to display well in a variety of applications (print, online, etc.)
Format: The winning design must be delivered as an Adobe .ai vector format file. All artwork must be original (no stock art elements) and full copyright ownership must be conveyed to Gregory A. Williams, DMD of Tigard Family Dental, PC.
