IronStone Realty Advisors
I'm starting a new Property Development, Investment and Commercial Real Estate firm in one of the largest cities/regions in the United States (Houston). We're going to be a "boutique" firm, but I need my identity to stand out and look like it belongs with the big boys. I want to look "established" day one and taken seriously. The name IronStone is imbued with strength - which is important, but I also need the logo with it to be sophisticated and appealing. We don't want to look like a standard commercial real estate company or a fly-by-night group either because we aren't.
Here is a link to an article about boutique hotels. It gives a great definition of "boutique" and is very applicable to my business. http://www.hospitalitynet.org/news/4010409.print
We are going to be a unique company with a special niche in the real estate industry.
My business will focus on commercial real estate investment, brokerage and site/building development: 1) commercial brokerage - target companies who are looking for a broker to represent them in a lease or sale transaction or companies/owners who are looking for a broker to list their land or building for sale or lease. 2) building development - target companies that are looking for a developer to build a new building for their company. 3) investors - target individuals who are looking for a broker to represent them in the purchase of real estate investments. 4) The name and logo need to look good on a For Sale/For Lease sign in front of a building or on a piece of property.
I need a logo/name design for use on business cards, stationary, real estate signs and a web site. A template for each would be ideal.
Bold. Respectful. Professional. Trustworthy. Capable. Likable. Creative. Sophisticated. Distinction. Warmth. Intimacy. That's the image I want to project. I don't want to look like a mom and pop shop or unsophisticated new company in the industry. On "paper", I need to fit in.
When I give someone my business card that shows my company name and logo, I want them to immediately think "capable and professional".
From this logo, I want to build business cards, stationary and a web design. It needs to look great on a sign and readable if a person were to drive by a piece of property and see my sign there listing the property for lease or sale.
No clip art, stock images or cartoons. "Realty Advisors" can be prominent or de-emphasized in the logo/name design. I have not established colors or font, but the design should exude "strength" like the name.

Need files in appropriate formats to use for business cards, website, stationalry and signage. Need a Photoshop version as well.
