I am an entrepreneur that has been in commercial real estate the past 7 years and am now starting my own development and brokerage company. I have focused on retail properties in Texas and have a growing client roster from all over the state and Mexico. The personality of our company is one of high character, aggressiveness, strong ethics, and diversity.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
My target audience are real estate professionals and business owners from Texas and Mexico. This group of people loves to travel, learn other cultures, and get things done.
I chose the name Armada for several reasons. The first being that it is a word that is easily understood in both the English and Spanish language. More importantly, the word connotes images of bilingual/bi-cultural, aggressiveness, and of exploring new territory. Most people will think of the Spanish Armada and of its importance in world history as a strong force that helped grow the Spanish influence throughout the world. In my line of work you can metaphorically say that each negotiation and each purchase is a new "conquest." Commercial real estate tends to be a very cut-throat tough business and I think Armada does a pretty good job of relaying this message. I would like to see Spanish colors - perhaps blue, crimson (wine-red), and white. I think it would be neat to have the silhouette of a sail or of a Spanish boat with the words "Armada Commercial Real Estate" on top. The word "Armada" can be in a bigger font and the words "Commercial Real Estate" can be directly below. I have attached a couple of drafts of something I had in mind. Pardon my "Paintbrush" skills.
