Links VIP Card (Austin Area)
I have started several discount cards for college students in the Texas Area and now I'm bringing the same idea to the Golf Market in Austin TX.
I am looking for a permanent designer to help with my many projects so there is a chance for the winner to earn the right to work on multiple projects from me.
I want to make a sport I love more affordable to play.
In an effort to give back, this card will be available for use as a fundraiser to many groups in the Austin Area.
This Golf Discount Card will be for male and female golfers of all ages in the Austin, TX area. The card needs to have a somewhat classy look to it that can be displayed in golf course pro shops, golf shops, print ads, commercials without offending anyone.
It will also be sold by local fundraisers..
Please submit a version of your logo on a credit card shaped background(both black and white if not more).
I would like a sleek looking logo that makes it clear that the card is related to the game of golf(use of Links obviously tie to golf). This can be done by incorporating golf balls, clubs, or a shield that is sometimes used for golf course logos. The I in Links could also be turned into a golf tee with a ball on it for example. Or a golfer's silhouette next to or in the logo like PGA TOUR's logo.
The logo needs to include the word Card in the design so people know what it is when the see just the logo.
I hate to hamstring designers by putting them into a tight box but I also want to give some basic idea of what I'm looking for. I am open to all ideas so please send me your comments and I will do my best to respond quickly.
One of my current websites will give you an idea of what I'm trying to accomplish with my Links VIP Card.
I have attached a picture of the sleeve and card photo and letterhead for a current card I have.
One important aspect of the logo is there needs to be a way to brand each Links VIP Card with a different city. Possibly for this Austin version a rubber stamp like mark on the corner of the design that says "Austin Area" or a silhouette of the skyline behind the logo.
The logo you make will need to look good on a plastic card as well as on any advertising that is done.
Submit on black and white backgrounds.
