Great design; one of only two designers to take the time to read the brief. Just killed it--well done!

How donald.e.walther started their logo design journey
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a consultant to large law firms, training lawyers on how best to sell legal services to large corporations. The name of my company is "eSquire" (which will not appear in the logo). The logo is based on my family crest.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Attorney & Law
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Love this design most of all because of the play on color and edgy origami feel
Minimalist and sophisticated
Color palette seems about right; thinking gold on black or black on gold
Love the 3D effect and shadows; also love the color palette
The logo will be based on my family crest--a crest that I wear on a ring and first showed up in the early 1600s. The name of the company "eSquire" is a play on the law industry (lawyers sign their names using "Esq.") and my family name, German for "Squire of the Forest." I would like a logo with an ultra-modern, sophisticated feel. The logo should only include the crest--but it may be abstract, 3D, etc. and need not include all of the detail on the interior of the image (or even all of the attributes of the crest itself) in the attached files. Looking to update the crest to something that will present well on business cards, online and on the center of letterhead. I suspect less is more here.
