How Fitness Blogger started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Eat Flow Sweat
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Eat Flow Sweat is a health & fitness blog covering good food ("eat"), yoga ("flow") and general cardio and strength conditioning ("sweat"). Our target audience is women willing to prioritize and invest in their total health and wellness. We target and reach all age brackets, but find that women 35 and over are the ones most serious about and receptive to our content, brand and messaging. (Probably b/c I, as the 48-year-old founder and editor, am the visible face of the brand). Our readers come from all over the globe.

Logo types to explore
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
Yes - logo design should ultimately be compatible with the WordPress Genesis theme 'Foodie" to which my website is currently being redesigned. (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/fo…#demo-full). Please reference that for the best clues as the crisp. clean design I'm looking for, as it represents a clean break from my current site design found at: http://www.eatflowsweat.com. Note that I also tend to favor "rounded" fonts like Arial over others with harsher lines such as Times New Roman. And it would be great if designers could keep in mind 3 concepts as design elements - food, yoga, cardio/strength training - and somehow work one or more into the logo lettering, without cluttering the design. I don't want it to look like the traditional yoga studio logo, though. That will turn off my more hard-core fitness audience. Finally, i want a break from my current logo (see attached file) in which the bag motif dominates the entire design. There's too much going on there. The emphasis with this new logo should definitely be the lettering, and more horizontal in spacing than the square box of the current logo.
