SCHOOL LOGO

We are looking for a logo for The Langley Academy. The Academy is a state-funded City Academy, located in Slough, just outside London, England.

Desired Color Scheme:
The uniform is a charcoal grey blazer with teal ribbon trim. Teal (turquoise) is the main school colour with tropical colours around the building eg. Leaf green, magenta, yellow, orange, purple, turquoise/ aqua.

Desired Style:
The logo needs to be used in different formats or colours by 6 individual houses within the Academy. The logo will be used on blazers, neck-ties, letterheads, signage, internet, etc.

We are looking for a logo for The Langley Academy. The Academy is a state-funded City Academy, located in Slough, just outside London, England. The Academy is a revolutionary, new school to be housed in an amazing building designed by world renown architects, Foster and Partners. The logo should motivate our young students and encourage them to believe in themselves and achieve their goals. Everything that the Academy does is new and innovative – employing new teaching methods, high quality education, building partnerships with Museums, using state of the art technology in a completely original building. We need a logo to powerfully communicate this – it needs to be simple, modern, bold, and to signify the ambitions that we hope every student will possess to be able to maximise their potiential and achieve greatness in whatever field they chose to follow! Students are aged from 11 to 18 (boys and girls).

School themes are Science, Sports and Sustainability.

Our initial ideas were based on Stars (think ‘reach for the stars’, ‘the sky’s your limit’, superstar, etc…) or Planets.
