Zeelah got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Quit Smoking Site Logo
Check out Zeelah's Logo design contest…
A more modern logo desired for an established site to be used on every page, and newsletters. The "web 2.0" look would suit, colours don't have to match existing site, but would like a smarter, snappier look (main decription updated).
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Vector, PSD We'd like to use a new logo to be the key for a new look for an established site (based in New Zealand) selling quit smoking products worldwide. The logo would be used throughout the site and on newsletters. The shortened "sst" could be used in the logo, as long as the full url could be placed in it somehow. There's no catch-phrase for the site. There's no need to borrow any concepts, sizes, or colors from the existing site, completely fresh is desired. Update - We'd definitely prefer to stay completely away from references to death (skulls, crossbones), or unwell; people who visit the site have already made that decision. We'd also prefer not to have cigarettes in the logo. The site is to help people move into a paradigm, essentially starting something new in their life.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
