Juxtapose got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Quick Logo for a PC Gaming Site
Check out Juxtapose's Logo design contest…
We're launching a PC Gaming news and forum site that will focus on news and discussion for both the games and hardware used (such as graphics cards) to play those games. We need a quick job done on a logo, not much creativity needed because we want it to look just like the logo there now from a template we're using.
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Black and silver, the same as seen in the current logo on the site Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png) We're launching a PC Gaming news and forum site that will focus on news and discussion for both the games and hardware used (such as graphics cards) to play those games. Here's the url and current design of the site: http://tinyurl.com/2zo3b9 You can see that a template has been used from vBulletinStyles.com so we're set in terms of site design. We just need a logo now. The logo needs to fit the design of the site and the best thing would for it to actually be much like the current logo (same font and color treatment etc.). We'd like a crosshair in the "o" for PCGamingCorner to give it a gaming feel (crosshair meaning the type of thing you see when looking through a rifle to target something). It should not include "correct" spacing in the logo and should not include the ".com". So "PCGamingCorner" is what should show up in the logo with each word having a different color to make it separate. No tagline is needed. The logo needs to be exactly the same dimensions as the one there now (http://tinyurl.com/27a9lz) and include the bottom black bar so it fits in with the header.
