Presidents Day Hockey Tournament Logo & Banner

We had such great success with our Thanksgiving Hockey Shootout contest, we decided to come back for some help with our Presidents Day tournament. We need a new logo for our website for the 2008 tournament. See description for more info.

Desired Color Scheme: Redish, Whitish, Blueish Desired Style: See Description with links to our other sites Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff); eps This logo will be used in place of our current logo at www.presidentsdayhockeytournament.com.  Our team is the Phoenix Polar Bears and we host one of the largest hockey tournaments in the Southwest.  We have teams from all over the county and this year, we already have 20 teams from Cananda flying to Phoenix, AZ.  The teams range in age from 6 - 18.  The logo will also be used on T-Shirts, programs and hockey pins that the kids exchange with each other.  Most importantly the logo will be used on a 2' x 6' ft banner that will go home with each Division Champion.  They will hang the banner in their home rink to display their Championship.    As you will see from the current logo.  Here are a few requirements and/or suggestions: - Red/White/Blue  - can be variations of the colors red/white/blue.  Our current logo has a nice maroonish red, not the bright, bright red.  - Hockey related of course - Presidents theme  - We are open to anything here and would like to see how creative you all can get with this.  Anything that looks Presidential will work...this is where it could get fun. - Phoenix Polar Bears Hockey Association needs to be on there somewhere - Year 2008 - We would like to somehow integrate our current Polar Bear logo (I will post the logo for you to work with).What we ended up doing for Thanksgiving tournament is choosing a first and second place winner (100 & 50) as we felt the logo for the web wouldn't really suit the banner and pin design but we really like it for the web.  If you can come up with a logo that works well for both, we will choose 1 winner.  If not, we would like to have the option to choose a first place (100) and second place (50).     Please see our thanksgiving site for the last contest winners entry: http://www.thanksgivinghockeytournament.com/Information.aspx    We really liked this.  I'll also post our Banner winner so you can see the 2 styles.   Please contact me with any questions.
