Our PR firm needs a logo that represents our authentic, strategic approach

We are a public relations and communications firm that services clients in a wide range of industries, from highly technical embedded software solutions to consumer packaged goods. Our approach to generating success is very strategic. Among our primary objectives is securing earned media/news coverage for our clients and their products and services.

The name of the company is Strategic Global Media, but the owner's initials are also SGM, so it will be important to see treatments using both the abbreviated initials and the entire name spelled out. What we're looking for in this logo is something that feels extremely professional and sophisticated while being surprising and fun. It's okay to have the entire name spelled out, but we also really want there to be a creative element that can serve as the visual representation of the brand. Please do not submit designs that are too on the nose. Please do not incorporate: - Clip art of a globe - Arcs or crescents, like the ones that every brand seemed to incorporate into their logos around the beginning of the 2000s - Anything that feels dated or of a specific time period. We want this logo to be somewhat timeless and some design elements are just too antiquated. Other than that, we look forward to seeing what you submit!
