Paintball Logos Need Some Sprucing Up...

I am in the process of developing two related websites that operate from the same company. One is for the name of the store and one is for our own branded products to be carries along with many other brands in our store. Both need to be quality vector graphics that I can have enlarged or made very small (business card or neon sign). Let's keep them pretty simple, but very cool.

True Paintball and HELKAT

Desired Color Scheme:
True Paintball - blue; HELKAT - black and white (or gray/metalic)

Desired Style:
Fairly simple vector/scalable graphics.

Accepted File Formats:
Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); EPS is preferred.

True Paintball - The store
This logo is for a store that retails paintball goods. The logo will be used to help brand the actual store in addition to the website. The base color should be blue. This logo should be fun but also inspire trust and confidence. The mission of the website will be to offer great prices and service on a large variety of paintball equipment. The physical store will be more of a warehouse outlet with a huge inventory rather than a regular retail store. Prize: $150

HELKAT - The brand to be carried within the store.
The Helkat logo has a starter graphic that I would like the design to stay pretty close to (the text is currently based the "Impact" bold font). I have already produced some goods with the existing logo. The colors need to work well on an all-black website, with white or gray text. This is a name brand for actual paintball guns and accessories. I would like the energy in this logo to be tough and perhaps have some military inspired influence. Perhaps bringing some hell and cat into the logo would work -but nothing too cartoonish. Some of these goods are used for police and military training. This shouldn't be too gentile because the logo will probably be printed on top of camouflage at times. The upgraded logo will probably find it's way onto future products. Prize: $100.
