How Fred Langley started their logo design journey
This is a family business which includes husband, wife, and daughter. We will be manufacturing/selling Frozen Desserts including Italian Ice, Gelato, Sorbet, Ice Cream and Cream Ice throughout the country. I'm a College Baketball Coach and have been for a number of years. My wife is a Life Coach for Entrepreneurs , and my daughter is just finishing her degree in Food and Hotel Resort Management.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We will be marketing our concept to other Coaches throughout the country. Our primary vehicle for moving our products will be Push Carts and Kiosks...your design will be on the side of these, as well as other marketing materials. We will develope a website in the future and possibly storefront locations.
Clean and professional, use your imagination...do what you do! I'm leaning towards Blue (Dasani Bottle), but it would not surprise me if we went completely away from that.
Art File Requirements
EPS and AI are the preferred formats. These are vector file formats and
information contained in these formats is of the quality and high resolution
necessary to retain clarity at any size.
Printer also accepts the following file formats:
PDF, TIFF, JPEG, PSD if the resolution is high enough to maintain clarity
when increased in size. For example, a JPEG file needs to be at least 300
Our printer runs the following programs:
· CorelDraw X3
· Photo Shop
· Adobe Illustrator
· Adobe Indesign
If your design contains photographs:
· You cannot use Web images for large scale printing. Web images are
much too small to be enlarged and printed.
· All photos must be obtained from either:
a) A drum scanner
b) Flat bed scanner
c) A digital camera at high resolution
If your design uses custom fonts:
You must include all fonts with the file.
a) Save file as an EPS or create outlines
b) Send a .zip file with all fonts included or
c) Select ‘embed fonts’ when you save the file.
