This design was for a vacation rental and future B&B that we are intending to use as a flagship brand logo for other possible ventures (including food products). The look needed to be both quaint but with touches of sophistication that would appeal to more urban, upscale audiences who we are trying to attract to this space. It needed to thread the needle between various moods. GiaKenza did a wonderful job, creating different 'looks' for our logo, including versions which featured our building, and text-only versions which did not. This helped us to come closer to finding what we needed to envision our own brand and its various uses, something which the other - very talented designers - did not do. It was this insight - that we didn't have ourselves - which set Gia apart from the others and helped us achieve the look we were striving for. Once he had won the commission, he was very responsive and helped us get the files we needed, and make small tweaks to the deliverables, as we worked with our printer. I'm so grateful - excellent work. I strongly recommend and endorse this designer. Many thanks! -chris bennem, proprietor Glen Hollow
How Victor Goncalves started their logo design journey
I am starting a benchmark website where business owners will be able to compare how their business is performing against other businesses in a league format. I have given the project the title of "Optical illusion" because business owners may have the preception that their business is performing well but in actual fact, compared to other business, they are underperforming.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Small to Medium size enterprises who need to know how their business is performing against other businesses
The logo must instil the "optical illusion" idea described above. I attach a copy of an optical illusion that I have always liked and would like the idea incorporated in the logo.
I am looking for a clean & simple design. The company name "Benchmark League" should be present. I would prefer Blue as the main colour but not to be darker than R15 G37 B63.
The logo will be used across a variety of mediums including print and web. The logo will also be shown in a variety of sizes so it needs to be simple enough to be readable when small.
I will need the winning logo in both colour & gray scale.
