We are a Soft Asset Finance company in the UK. We are currently just a small brokerage and don't even have a website as most of our business is done via word of mouth and also over the telephone business to business.
Anyway we are expanding and wanting to tackle the consumer market and as such we are wanting to create a new brand and need a strong design to stand out online.
Like I say at the moment we are a small company but we want to give off the image that we are a BIG company online to gain peoples trust in order for them to apply for a business loan or enquire about asset finance.
We need first and foremost a logo designed and a colour scheme picked. Then we want our website designed with UX and conversion in mind.
The whole idea behind the website is to send targeted traffic to it and convert them into sales leads for our staff to follow up on.
Our biggest competitor is a company called Portman Asset Finance
And although we don't like their site design at all. We do like the way it is laid out. They have a homepage and loads of landing pages connected to it all relevant to different types of businesses that they can target to help.
Basically we just want to copy their format but obviously completely redesign it and better it.
I really like the flat, simple, clean look with short descriptive headlines and illustrations to quickly explain things with plenty of space.
A lot of finance companies can seem too corporate, we want our company to appear friendly and approachable.
