forthelearn got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Newsletter brand with broad appeal for curious readers and life-long learners
Check out forthelearn's Logo design contest…
A newsletter providing a curated selection of interesting books and podcasts I've discovered and consumed which I think could benefit other readers/listeners. Each post/issue will contain a short teaser of all the reviews, a personal rating followed by a review for each book/podcast/online post, etc (and sometimes) an excerpt or a link to a longer review/writeup. My target audience are adults interested in finding the next book to read or podcast worth listening to. I am *not* looking for educational/academic vibes and will reject logos featuring multicolored letters and graduation caps or tassels.
I need this to be dark-mode compatible and would either like a single logo that can be used for both, or another variant slightly tweaked for dark mode viewing. If you use any book imagery in the logo, please try to work in headphones as well to convey that learning is not just "reading" but "listening" too. I'm intending the logo to convey that this is a chill publication. People are encouraged to skim without guilt and ignore the things they don't find interesting. Let the deluge of information you process every day just flow past you if you're not interested. No FOMO (fear of missing out) vibes. This is something you'd read casually on a weekend without feeling like you have to catch up on previous issues.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.
