the nature outside your doorstep
I am 48 yrs. old experienced ICT guy, with +20 yrs experience servicing international companies on IT managerial positions (Accenture, Nokia etc.). Now stepped out from that stress and continuing with my Start-Up Otrakon ltd. Our one most important product is now to be developed and it is about the project title.
We are small, big way networked and enthusiastic. We want to get the high-tech nerds and outdoors hikers together.
Consumers. We see three types today: 1. High-tech's who will use this and all the gadgets available to join the fun anyway. 2. the ones who are "forced" to the nature, for example pupils, sports teams, people attending company outing days. 3. the mainstream normal outdoor people who today use no social media or mobile for this.
This will be a social media service product for free. Paying customers for us are city municipalities and companies taking part on the service.
"the nature outside your doorstep" is a nature oriented social network service with an objective to provide, gather and share information (stories, pictures, visits, events) about various point of interests (nature spots) easily reachable from network member's daily life range.
The service will be FUN, EASY, ACCEPTED, ENCOURAGING and REWARDING.
FUN for looking nice, cool, modern
EASY for really easy usage. Visit a Spot by just one click if using mobile. Fast and easy data entry in the web. Standard and common connectivity to all other social media (FB, Twitter, etc).
ACCEPTED for that the nature spots are approved by the municipalities. You can trust this.
ENCOURAGING for social media experience that has not been there yet. share your hidden mushroom spots, find people that are interested in the things you do (especially non IT people)
REWARDING for new exiting ways to get promoted and well, rewarded.
