1P2D got their new logo design by running a design contest:

Art & Design
I am a Vehicle Futurist. I invent stories and design vehicles out of them, notably flying cars. I need a logo that I'll use as my signature, a stamp for every visuals I produce. I am a freelancer and work for companies or private customers. I usually work from home, but also happen to join engineering teams when necessary as it is the case right now as I work for airspeeder.com. I am french, 25 years old, currenty living in Sydney but thinking of moving to the US one day. I'm in love with the automotive world. What inspires me: scifi (2001, Interstellar, Mad Max), literature (Jules Verne), technology and politics (I know). I used to compose music which explains my company name: as 1P2D (a bit of design) is linked to my designer side, 1P2G (a bit of groove) was supposed to represent my musical creative side. I don't make music anymore though. As an entity, 1P2D's design language is supposed to be dark and bright. Something bright in a distopian future. My job is to tell stories through my vehicles, and this new logo should scream that. Personally speaking, I am a pretty chill-out guy with an affirmed political standpoint and a passion for bass music: anything that can sufficiently supply my eardrums with low frequencies will make me happy. Other color requirements
- I'll use the logo on a dark or white bg - font: white or blueish - mysterious and technical/futurist custom letters (I may apply a glow effect depending on the use)
It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
1P2D collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
