Our temporary working logo includes a graphic of those shapes superimposed on one another. The design we are seeking may include a more balanced and refined version of that or something very different that still incorporates those shapes. The final result should be a fit with children’s education but sophisticated and simple enough that it can still be used when our programs for adults are brought out later this year.
Our approach of focusing on foundational elements of effective learning is the reason we have chosen a subdued red, blue, yellow triad color scheme. These specific colors should be used (or it should be immediately obvious why you changed them):
Light Blue, ccccff
(The first is really darker than I like and the second is too light. Usually, the first one would be the choice, but at times the lighter may work better.)
Dark Blue, 000066
Light Blue, c8d7f0
Red, 80 00 00
Dark Blue, 19195f,
We’re not very big on yellow (even a very muted one like this) so we’d like it used very sparingly. The blues and red should dominate.
Our web site is currently being completely reworked, so please don’t pay any attention to the current look and feel or colors there.
Vector graphics are required and we need one done in the web colors and another done in the print colors.
