How McLV Motel started their logo design journey

We need a logo which can be for various uses, neon sign, letter head, key cards, web site etc.

What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The motel was built in 1981 with extentions in 1985 and New Modern Apartments in 2004 with the latest refurbishments of original rooms over the last 3 years.with a modern contemporary look. All rooms are very big and spacious. we hear from guests that " we are more than just a motel" all the time. The Motel has a Brick colonial exterior and a modern contemporary interior, surrounded by vines but has a tropical palm courtyard. Located in the Famous wine growing area of Mclaren Vale and only 7km from the beach and the mount lofty ranges in the background.
