Fantastic and easy process with this designer creating a logo. Very good at listening to feedback and updating the design accordingly. Very professional!
How Primal ATC Matt started their logo design journey
PRIMAL ATHLETE TRAINING CENTER (PRIMAL ATC)
Primal ATC is a small training center designed with one thing in mind: taking ordinary athletes and turning them into strong, powerful, athletic beasts. We use barbells, dumbbells, atlas stones, big tractor tires, sledgehammers, kettlebells, and sleds to transform our athletes. We don't just train their bodies at Primal ATC. We teach character. Pushing through to complete the workouts and the comraderie our athletes develop teaches character that they carry with them for the rest of their lives. They become more resilient. Injuries decrease. The training they go through at Primal ATC will propel them to the next level of their athletic careers.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our desired audience are high school and collegiate student athletes. The large majority of our athletes are young men ages 15-19. Many of our athletes participate in a team varsity sport that relies on individual achievements. Track and Field, Wrestling and Baseball players make up about 90% of our clients. We do have some football, girl's volleyball, and golfers thrown in the mix.
We are looking for a high resolution image that can be used on our new website and on advertising pieces. One or two colors maximum. Not too busy. In this busness simple is better. One image I have in my head is a powerful "primal" animal like a wooly mammoth or a large ape. The words PRIMAL ATC should be somewhere in the logo. I really like fonts that are faded/dirty/old looking. Primal ATC is not a chrome filled, brightly colored, 40,000 square foot gym. We are a small 1000 square foot facility that is a little dark, somewhat dirty warehouse filled with chalk dust and powerful people. The logo should be strong and bold, not flashy or extravagant. Please take a look at two pictures I took from inside the facility and the text we use on our business cards for some ideas.
