Dan Grossman needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 34 designs submitted by 13 freelance designers.
The "WP Review Site" plugin turns a WordPress blog into a powerful user review site. Instead of just leaving comments, users leave reviews and star ratings, with categories and design configured through the plugin. See AwardWinningHosts.com for a demonstration.
WP Review Site
This will be a logo for WP Review Site, a site which will sell a plugin that adds review and rating capabilities to WordPress blogs. See Award Winning Hosts for a demonstration. The plugin powers the star ratings throughout the site, sorting posts by weighted averages, etc.
I expect to declare a winner before the 7 days are up assuming there are entries. I would like to launch the site this week, and will pay promptly for timely delivery of the files. I was contest holder of the year in 2006 on SitePoint.
Does not need to be a vector graphic, but whatever source file you create should be supplied, as well as a rendered PNG.
- Looks good on white, light or light gradient background
- Not text only, some icon or imagery associated with the name
- Imagery can be related to ratings (stars?), reviews (text lines? bubbles?), or anything you come up with... does not have to be related at all if it's uniqueI like these logos:
