Vermeer got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo for my website
Check out Vermeer's Logo design contest…
My Website www.bulitippspiel.net (non commercial, a "hobby-project") needs a new logo. My design skills are not very high (you see the current logo), so i decided to go this way.
What's your vision?
I need two sizes/versions of the logo. One for the actual logo (max 200x90 Pixel) and one which will be displayed when the user is allowed to turn off the advertising: This logo should not be very high, the lenght is irrelevant. "What i want" is not "must have", but "nice to have" BTW: Excuse for my bad english
- Web 2.0 style - Apple-Style (Reflections...) - An icon symbol (a soccerball or even better, a goal?) - Use the Colours on the Page (orange, Red..) I like the VAG-Font It must be easy to change the colours (a psd-File with layers?) (not very necessary) - ".net" in the Logo (that's not in the current Logo)
One-coloured Web 1.0-Style "boring logo" :)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.

99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
