osi66 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for software workshop series
Check out osi66's Logo design contest…
A special kind of workshop where the attendees learn directly from the inventor of a software. The logo should symbolize that unique feature, so you might play with: communication, source, mouth, workshop, presentation, questions & answers.
What's your vision?
Accepted File Formats: Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai)  We are looking for a logo for a series of workshops on software development. The workshops are special in that the trainer will be the inventor/developer of the software technology/tool to be taught in the workshop. This is to maximize the outcome for the attendees, because they can expect that no question will remain unanswered. If the inventor/developer himself does not know the answer, who should?  Usually workshops are taught by just any person who feels competent regarding a technology/tool. That´s ok - but we want to offer more. We want to go beyond the usual and offer information and advise "straight from the horse´s mouth" (as they say). This is the reason, why the name for the workshop series will be "Straight from the Horse´s Mouth". Each workshop will then of course get a subtitle like "Straight from the Horse´s Mouth #12 - A db4o Introduction by Chief Developer Carl Rosenberg". Our homepage: www.prodevcollege.deÂ
