How Alexander.Thiel started their logo design journey
We are two individuals who have seen the devastation Malaria causes in Africa (A child dies every 30 seconds). However, most people in the US, especially the younger generations, have very little awareness for this issue and lack the belief that they can actually have an impact. Through our web campaign, we will make it possible to send and track mini-donations that will $ for $ be used to purchase and deploy drug treatments on the ground and thereby save lives.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The primary audience is 16-35 year olds within the US - predominantly using social media (Facebook, etc)
We need a logo (word design and picture symbol) for our brand - "Fight".
We want the logo to depict: impact, action, empowerment and collaboration. Active impact is at the core of the brand identity.
We want the brand to make communities feel that they are making a powerful difference by combining their small acts into a large impactful one.
The campaign that this will be used in will be "Fight Malaria" although the brand is "Fight". Thus we would like Fight to standout while including "Malaria" in a complementary and consistent way. An analogy would be "Nike shoes" where Nike is clearly the brand and that needs to stand out although shoes needs to look consistent with this pairing.
We would also like to one version with the tagline "Fight the good fights"
