logo revision for conservative news web site

We are in the midst of redesigning some aspects of this web site and need some revisions on the logo. The same general color scheme should be used, but we need something more flexible for appearing either over white or black backgrounds.

Tagline: Be Heard Desired Color Scheme: red, white, blue and/or grayscale Accepted File Formats: vector Illustator file Notes: This is for a web site that aggregates a lot of different news pieces and has people posting original commentary. Colors: red,white, blue and/or grayscale Current web site: http://www.theconservativevoice.com/ Development web site link: http://www.justwantnews.com/ The typeface should change and the text used can either be "The Conservative Voice" or "TCV Daily" The slogan is "Be Heard" We would like to maintain the shield ... either as it currently is or with a different take on the shield idea. The Shield can either appear in color or grayscale. We probably want something web 2.0-ish ... whatever that means... :-)
