bklyn5 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for RestaurantUniforms(dot)NET
Check out bklyn5's Logo design contest…
This logo is for a website that sells uniforms to restaurants, hotels, country clubs. Looking for a basic (but appealing) design. We would like the ".net" to be incorporated into the design. We are open to fonts and colors....however this IS NOT a web 2.0 kind of feel. Though customers will be business owners, WE ARE NOT looking for something too corporate.
What's your vision?
Tagline: none Desired Color Scheme: open Desired Style: Professional, but not "corporate" Accepted File Formats: PSD Everything explained in short summary. Please send PM for any further clarification...Thank you.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $399.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
