Enthusiastic from the start. A great designer that will experiment with differing concepts/ideas and ensures that they tie in with your brief. Highly recommend.
How NORMI started their logo design journey
NORMI-The National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors
The National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors trains and certifies professionals in the mold abatement industry. NORMI also certifies professionals in the fields of IAQ, Drinking Water, and other biological contaminants.
NORMI is a cooperative group of Certified IAQ/Mold Inspectors and Certified Mold Remediators who have successfully completed training and certification in those specific areas of expertise.
Our programs assure the consumer that the professional they choose evidences experience and adheres to a strict Code of Ethics.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We target anyone who may need our training but the most popular are indoor air quality professionals, HVAC contractors, general contractors, pest control specialists, and others. These are people who are trying to add certifications to their existing profession or are trying to switch altogether.
We also target the general public with free information during crisis times, particularly floods. We provide information, training, and guidance for those affected and how to solve their problems.
We are solutions based, wholistic, and green.
We have an existing logo that we want redesigned. We have enough traction nationwide (even internationally) where our logo has been seen so we don't want to throw it away. We want an updated, fresh look.
Try to keep the general color schemes and the word "NORMI". You can play around with different shades of those colors if you want to. If you can incorporate the pennant design that is currently behind it, that would be great but feel free to get very creative with that. Other than that, feel free to change/update everything else including fonts. Also you can turn the logo into the website by adding a ".org" behind it if you want to.
We want a national/international look and I feel that this current logo looks localized.
