How Mike D, KC started their logo design journey
Kintbury Consulting Limited
Kintbury Consulting is a small consultancy which needs to present a professional image to clients and potential clients. It is named after Kintbury, a small village in Berkshire (UK). The company works on IT projects for big corporate clients.
Much of the work is technical, involving lots of computer programming. However, the aim of the company is to excel at the human interaction with clients. The consultants are knowledgeable but also sociable and easy to talk to.

Senior business managers in large companies based in the UK. Most will be in their 30s and 40s.
I want a simple, smart logo that we can use on business cards, as a letterhead and possibly also on the website. The logo doesn't need to have the 'limited' suffix. The main text should be 'Kintbury Consulting'. I also like the idea of using the letters 'KC' as a part of the logo, as I think they go together quite well.
I want to make two-sided business cards, with one side containing just the logo image. The other side will contain text only. Therefore the image should scale easily to 1062 x 615 pixels.
My favourite colour is blue. I will need to have the hex codes of the colours so I can match colours on the other side of the business card and also on the website. I would like the text to be in a relatively common font too so that I can match it.
Apart from the name there is nothing that must feature in the logo. The most important thing is to keep it clean and simple, without too much fuss.
