Thank you so much BURUKDesign! From the beginning the designer was taking in consideration every aspect of the design I asked for. They show talent and out of the box imagination and they adapted the design as I wanted the very next day.
Thank you and I hope your design will be seen on many many products.Good luck!
How frimelg started their logo design journey
A Little Soul for Less
We are a take-out and catering company that specializes in preparing soul food meals (authentic home-styled southern cuisine) using family recipes and offering them at very reasonable prices. The menu is traditional (catfish and grits, chicken and waffles, red beans and rice, smothered pork chops, oxtails, etc.) and is adjusted seasonally (from spring's boiled crawfish to summer's bar-b-que to fall/winter's seafood gumbo) and will surely remind you of home; especially if you're from the south.
These foods are usually pricey as there are usually no real "short-cuts" in their preparation. Yet we offer the same traditional foods (with better flavor) and we do it for less! Hence: A LITTLE SOUL FOR LESS!!!
What message we want to convey: Tradition and Quality for Less
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Anyone with an appetite and appreciates soul food but doesn't want to have to go back home and cut the grass or do the laundry as they did when they were kids to get that flavor like Big Mama's at a reasonable price.
Be creative! Be creative! Be creative!
We are open to typeface only or typeface with icon designs; all for which are clear, yet bold.
We would like something that represents the evolution of the 'Old School' tradition.
Feel free to toggle the font size on the brand name to emphasize certain words and/or letters e.g. small font size for "A Little" and large font size for "Soul for Less."
No stock images or clip art. We are looking for original works.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
High resolution for printing
Ultimately we want to have an ongoing relationship with the winning designer for future projects.
