Advisio got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo needed for "Helping Hands" - Community giving program for Centers for Youth and Families non-profit organization.
Check out Advisio's Logo design contest…
We are looking for a logo for the "Helping Hands" Community donor program that will complement the Organization's exisiting main logo. We want something that says we are a children's organization. The logo should be even more child-like and playful than the "Corporate Key" Logo Contest submitted on 2/18. For a better look at the main logo (top left side) and to learn more about this non-profit's goals go to: http://www.youthandfamilies.org/about/goals.aspx
What's your vision?
Desired Color Scheme: Teal for design and purple for text. Desired Style: professional yet playful, child friendly, family centric Accepted File Formats: Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff) The new logo for the "Helping Hands" giving program should be in line with the existing Ceners for Youth and Families logo found at www.youthandfamilies.org, but you have alot of freedom to make it your own. The only text that the logo should have is "Helping Hands". The goal is to find a professional design that brings in playful, child-like images that speaks to the hearts of community donors. Colors should be teal for the design and purple for the text. The logo also must look good in B&W. The end product needs to be in .psd or .ai format. Good luck, and I have another contest for a corporate giving program listed and it would be great for all three logos to look great beside each other. I will be able to give detailed feedback by Wed. afternoon 2/20.Â

Both the work and communication were incredible. We couldn't be happier to have a new design and to have worked with someone who listened to our requests, was excited to work with us, and delivered a product we feel good about.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
