Scandinavian design may differ a little bit from the US preferences. Here in the northwest of Europe we tend to prefer the "less is more" approach when it comes to design.
The official company name is "Clockwork Bemanning" (Bemanning means Staffing). We would like a logo containing only the brandname "Clockwork", but you should also consider to make an alternativ including "Bemanning" - maybee in a smaller font beneath the main brand name or similar.
Colurs: I (the CEO) would prefer orange, or maybe red (cherry) The logo should be possible to "invert" as shown on the enclosed scetches.
Logo symbol: something releated to the clockwork (inside a mechanical clock) - gives assosiations to high quality, beeing precise, on time (on budget), going on without stopping etc, and also to the fact that we provide "work on hours"
Enclosed you willfind some "first scetches" - I like the "direction" but I am far from happy with this - maybee you could use this as a starting point, as a point of inspiration ?
Consider my inputs as guidelines, not as absolute requirements. The most important "requirement" is "less is more" - overwhelming very detailed "american way" designs will not win :-)
